2026 HR Games Competition

About HR Games

In teams of 3, students from SHRM student chapters across Michigan compete in a Jeopardy-style tournament to test their knowledge of the HR profession. This friendly competition enables student team members to leverage their course knowledge in answering questions from the body of HR knowledge. During the competition, each team must think quickly and apply ethical decision making to answer each question.

Registration will open on June 2nd

One team per university or college can register. If space is available, additional teams may be able to participate. If you have a 3rd team, please contact Amy McGinnis at 989-774-3339 or gambr1ab@cmich.edu about being placed on the wait list.

Included with your HR Games Team registration:

• SHRM Michigan will provide two rooms - October 20th
• Lunch Wednesday October 21st
• HR Games and Awards on Wednesday, October 21st from 8:30am-1:30pm
• Reserved front row seating at the Opening Ceremony & Keynote Speaker on Wednesday, October 21st from 2:00pm-3:45pm
• Access to the tradeshow floor on Opening Day Wednesday, October 21st from 4:00 pm – 6:30 pm
