Session description:
Using a simulated legal experience, Dinsmore & Shohl attorneys will guide participants through how to identify legal issues based on emerging post-COVID employment law changes to assess organizational practices that impact operations and people management in order to decide on the best available risk management strategies.
This event will offer legal insights to help attendees navigate recent guidelines, mandates, and court decisions.
Attendees will dive deeper into various updates to employment laws, and will gain a deeper understanding of these laws through a simulated legal experience.
Through this interactive session, attendees will gain a more profound knowledge of navigating a variety of employment situations and how to address potential legal risks to their organizations.
Session objectives:
- Review employment law updates including recent decisions and emerging laws to determine change strategies for mitigating risk
- Understand how to address a variety of employment situations, how to adjust to accommodate emerging legal concerns based on changing guidelines, mandates and court decisions
- Evaluate attendee’s own organization to best comply with current and emerging federal, state, and local laws
